First we must define what a Libertarian is?

A Libertarian is someone who believes that coercion and/or violence cannot be the basis of a political compact, business, or personal relationship. This is called the Non-Aggression Principle. For the rest of this article, we will just refer to it as NAP. The NAP in business and personal practice means that we should keep our word. If we enter into a contract together to perform certain tasks for one another in exchange for a set price, then both of us should keep our word… our contract. Government, which most Libertarians accept as needed in limited ways, therefore exists to make sure that contracts are enforced. If one does not keep their word, then they are liable to civil suits, fines, and judgments as a means to rectify the broken contract. Libertarians that believe in limited government are called “Limited-Statist Libertarians.” They believe that one submits oneself voluntarily to a government, and that in fact all good government is voluntary in nature. The Founding Fathers were, for the most part, “Limited-Statist Libertarians”, and the Constitution of the United States is a document written to secure the rights of man by forming a very limited state, or government. The Founding Fathers believed, for the most part, that the role of the Federal Government should be very small, and the liberty of the individual should be very large.

What does a Christian Libertarian believe and why the designation Evangelical Libertarian?

A Christian Libertarian then is one whose understanding of the NAP is informed by nature and Scripture.

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. 

A Christian Libertarian believes as all Christians believe, that there are two books of revelation, nature AND Scripture. While standard Libertarians of all varieties lean heavily on natural law theory in regards to discerning ethics and crime, Christian Libertarians filter their understanding of natural law through God’s Special Revelation to human beings in the Bible. As an Evangelical Libertarian then I am just more specific in what I believe concerning the nature of Scripture. I believe the Bible is inerrant, infallible, and all sufficient, providing everything that I need to understand, giving me sure a foundation for what I should believe, and how I should live in and interpret the world that I inhabit.

Not all professed Christians place the Bible on such a pedestal. This understanding of Libertarianism brings me close to paleo-Conservatism on many fronts. But, in my opinion, the conservative moniker has been so tarnished by neoconservatives that I can never wear that badge again. The modern Republican party is made up of as many aggressive statists as the modern Democratic Party. The difference being that Republicans make some attempt to hide their real plans and Democrats do not. Generally, when neoconservatives do use the term smaller government, what they really mean is slower rate of growth. So I choose to place myself among Libertarians, since they are at least not public liars, and make some attempt to be honest about their views.

Another name I will often use to describe myself is, “Limited-statist Libertarian”, as used previously in this article. Meaning that I believe that there is a very limited sphere in which the state should operate. Ludwig Von Mises and Fredrich Hayek, the two most brilliant economists of the twentieth century, are claimed by both paleo-conservatives and right leaning libertarians as heroes. The reason that they are claimed by both camps is because they were economic libertarians but tended to be social conservatives. Both believed the state had a limited role to play in public life. They were not “anarcho-capitalists”, who believed in a state-less world without borders, that is made up of unfettered individuals, and absolute free markets. I often state in my blogs the distaste I have for Utopianism. Anarcho-capitalism and libertinism are Utopian ideals, pure fiction in my estimation, and I do not dabble in fiction. The world is as it is, and so we must meet it as it is, not as we wish it to be. The three questions I ask myself often are,

  1. What is the proper sphere of the State?
  2. What is the proper sphere of the Church?
  3. How can human liberty be properly maximized in the individual in order to benefit human flourishing economically, culturally, and spiritually?

After “The Last Jedi”

Kylo and Rey

If you have not seen “The Last Jedi”, I would not read any further unless you are ok with spoilers. Everything that you are about to read are my guesses about the future of the franchise. It is all conjecture. I don’t have any inside contacts over at Disney. I’ve not seen any scripts. I am just a casual fan of the Star Wars franchise that also loves to analyze films, especially their use of foreshadowing and cultural themes. I’ve already done a general critique of what I didn’t like about the “Last Jedi.” Read it here So, without further ado, I present to you the Evangelical Libertarian’s predictions concerning the future direction of the Star Wars franchise.

First, I believe Disney is bringing the original storyline to an end in order to begin multiple new story lines. After Kylo Ren and Rey join forces to defend themselves against Snoke’s version of the Imperial Guard, they have an important, albeit brief verbal exchange. Kylo Ren’s words to Rey in that scene, along with their conversation on the way up to Snoke’s throne room in the elevator, I believe, give us the basic seeds that will blossom into the future of the franchise. Paraphrasing here, Kylo Ren tells Rey, “Let it all die. the Jedi, the Sith, the Empire, the Republic, all of it, let it all die.” I believe Disney is spelling out for us their intention. They are killing the original story line. After this series of films, I believe the Skywalker dynasty will end, as well as most of the links to the original films, except maybe legend references. These movies are Disney building a bridge out of the past and into the future. They are going to expand the franchise and create multiple story lines and merchandising opportunities. I’ll get into that next, including how I think the new story lines will come about.

Rey’s origins I believe were only partially explained in the “Last Jedi”. I think Kylo Ren’s vision of her past was accurate but incomplete. Rey, I believe is like Anakin, a force conception. In the cave, when she looked into the glass, she only saw herself. The people Kylo Ren saw in his vision and assumed to be her parents, will turn out to have been only her mother, likely being forced to sell her child in order to get drinking money for her husband because she was not his child and he knew it.

Here is the whopper prediction everyone. I believe Rey is the new Anakin and Kylo Ren is the new Vader. Wait, Kylo Ren the new Vader (sarcasm), everyone knows that EL. Hang with me a second here. Rey and Kylo are two sides of the same character, or the Force if you will. Rey is born on a desert planet into difficult circumstances, lonely, afraid, and different from everyone else because she is Force conceived. In her early years she will be, like Anakin, the hero and display fantastic powers. But, in the end she will become the villain. I think this will happen in the next film. Both Rey and Kylo’s visions of each other’s futures were accurate. He will turn back to the Light and she will turn to the Darkside of the force. When she first used the Force, she went straight to the darkside. Luke was shocked that she did not even resist. In contrast, Kylo could not kill Leia, and I believe he saved her by using the Force when she should have died. This will come out fairly early in the next film as well. The first two films, “The Force Awakens” and “The Last Jedi” have gone out of their way to focus on Kylo Ren’s moral conflict. Rey tells Luke as she leaves to go to confront Kylo Ren in an attempt to turn him that he (Kylo Ren) is the Rebellion’s best hope now.

Though the original storyline is being ended, multiple new story lines are going to be established. I believe Rey is not the only force conception. This was foreshadowed at the very end of “The Last Jedi” when the orphan child that had helped Rose and Fin reached for the broom and drew it to himself without touching it. We are watching Disney let the old Jedi Order die to give birth to a new one. It is time for it to die, Luke tells us several times in “The Last Jedi.” Yoda confirms it by destroying the Tree that contained the ancient Jedi texts. He also confirms that it is time for the Jedi to die when speaking with Luke. Luke points out the arrogance of believing that the force would vanish with the original Jedi Order while training Rey. He tells Kylo Ren that “every word that he had just spoken was wrong,” that he, Luke would not be the last Jedi. The old Jedi Order will die and a new order will arise from force conceptions throughout the galaxy.

Lastly, I believe Rey and Kylo Ren will possibly kill each other as the climax of the next film. I think Rey will turn and do what all Sith do when they turn. Like Anakin and Kylo Ren before her, she will plan an attempt to kill all the young Force conceived Jedi in order to wipe out the new order before it can begin. I think Rey and Kylo Ren’s final fight scene will be Kylo Ren’s redemption scene, and it will involve him stopping her from hunting the new force conceived Jedi down in order to kill them. Rey and Kylo may join forces briefly in the next film, but in the end, she will be the villain and he will be the hero. Both will die to make way for new story lines that will involve all the new force conceptions. Also wherever there is light there is dark. We will also see some of these Force conceptions birth a new Sith order. Snoke tells us in the film that he knew that as Kylo Ren grew in strength, that there would be one among the Jedi who would rise with more or less equal power. Snoke assumed it was Luke, but it turned out to be Rey.

Another theory I have is that only Kylo Ren dies, slain by Rey’s hand, but in doing so he saves the Rebellion and the new Force conceptions. Rey, a non-Skywalker, lives on to train a new Sith Order to match the rise of the New Jedi Order.

Some Semblance Of Justice and the Demolition of Political Parties Would Heal Much

You don’t know how much it pains me to continually have to write articles that generally sound like a defense of President Trump. They are not. I didn’t vote for him. I am not going to vote for him. But let’s end this Mueller investigation and move on from all the talk about triggering the 25th Amendment in order to remove President Trump for being psychologically unstable. He’s immoral not unstable. There is a difference. Meanwhile, actual career criminals are having cocktails right now laughing at us rubes who put up with this line of nonsense. Here is a list of people that should either be jailed or run out of Washington on a rail and why.

Feinstein-Clinton

Diane Feinstein recently leaked the contents of the closed session interview with Fusion GPS Co-founder Glen Simpson. Fusion GPS is of course the consulting group that put together the now infamous Trump Dossier. Immediately afterward she publicly said that she was mistaken for not speaking with Senator Chuck Grassley (Judiciary Committee Chairman) before releasing the transcripts. Then she said she was pressured, meaning by other democratic operatives, but immediately walked that statement back. Now, she is saying that she was under mental stress from a bad cold. All lies in my opinion. She is just seeing which cover story will stick. The truth is she is just making sure that the witnesses in the case that have not been interviewed as of yet can get their stories straight. The Clinton people requested and paid for the dossier to be built. Some high level Dems took it to the Justice Dept. and it was likely the basis for the FISA warrants that the FBI got in order to surveil the Trump team. The same FBI that had Peter Strzok (the guy who cleared Clinton and changed the language of the letter exonerating her), Lisa Page (Justice Dept. Lawyer), and Andrew McCabe (Deputy Director of the FBI) planning some kind of insurance policy to make sure Trump would not be elected. My guess, the dossier that Simpson’s Fusion GPS prepared was that insurance policy, and everyone now needs to make their stories line up with what Glen Simpson told Congress before they are interviewed under oath. Who better to release it than a retiring feminist icon?

Comey

Everything James Comey leaked was classified. The man wrote NYT Op-ed’s after being fired against the Trump regime. I guess when you are fired for clearly violating the basic principles of U.S. law and order you would have a bad taste in your mouth. When he announced that Hillary would not be charged he was doing the Justice Department’s job. Comey was the head cop not the head lawyer. That was Loretta Lynch at the time. The woman who met in an unscheduled meeting with Bill Clinton on a tarmac to talk about Hillary’s email investigation with him….. eh hem, I mean to talk about his grandchildren as Lynch claimed afterward. Comey said his hand was forced due to Lynch compromising herself in that meeting. Bull pucky! The local sheriff doesn’t decide if someone is prosecuted. They make a case and arrest. The D.A. decides whether to prosecute. These people are just playing games, complicated games, criminal games.

Hillary

Hillary Clinton and her people people erased emails after they were subpoenaed by Congress and then paid a special tech company to acid wash the hard drives. Her people smashed phones, tablets, and computers with hammers. Not to mention that she transmitted sensitive and classified information on non-secure devices and email platforms. If she was any normal government employee she’d be in prison as I write. Maybe that Uranium One deal was on the up and up, I don’t know. I agree, with the layers of bureaucracy required it would have been difficult to rig. But, selling a significant portion of U.S. uranium stores to a company in Russia with investors that donate to your foundation, and pay your husband vast sums of money for speaking engagements at about the same time as the deal is being approved by the State Department, that you are the head of, just looks bad. The whole Clinton Foundation and Haiti thing looks awful too. And then there was Benghazi, where four U.S. citizens died, including Christopher Stevens our Ambassador to Libya. Remember when Hillary insisted that it was all an unplanned, and that the riot outside the embassy was in response to an anti-Muslim film? While she was saying that publicly, she was writing Chelsea emails about how it was a planned and coordinated attack by an Al Quaeda like group  They put the film maker in jail for a while here in the U.S. over that story.

Lois Lerner

Then there is Lois Lerner, who intentionally denied tax status’ to Tea Party groups as a political vendetta. She retired with a full pension. The afore mentioned Andrew McCabe will retire in 45 days with his full pension as well.

Wasserman-Schultz

Don’t forget about Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, the former head of the DNC. She worked inside the DNC to fix the results for Hillary against the Bern.  In Iowa, Clinton won 6 out of 6 coin tosses to decide whether her or Bernie would get unassigned delegates in various locations. Go and figure the odds of someone winning 6 out of 6 coin tosses. The odds are astronomical. Not that Wasserman-Schultz had anything to do with it, it is just one of those weird things that happened under her watch. She did however have some crooked Pakistani nationals with out clearance handling all the IT work at the DNC. Even continuing to work with them personally after they had been indicted on conspiracy, charges, and one of their wives was caught trying to leave the country with thousands in cash. Her husband was following close behind. He was arrested. Believe it or not, his wife is in Pakistan now. They let her go. 

John Brennan the former CIA Director and James Clapper the former Defense Intelligence Agency Director were out in force during the election campaigning for Clinton. That’s not illegal, it is just unseemly. For people that serve in the intelligence services at high levels currently or recently to get involved in national elections in order to influence the outcome is wrong. They can wield too much influence. Their current or former jobs put them in a position of knowledge, and they have the potential to shade possible future events to sound like certainties, and no one would know the difference. Every one else with the same information, but a different opinion, could not enter the fray and confront them because the information that would be needed to refute them is classified.

If one of us unwashed plebes attempted to do any of these things, these very people would charge us with so many crimes we’d never see the light of day again if we were convicted. Then they’d throw an unlimited resources at you, a private citizen with very limited resources, burying you in financial ruin in case you managed to escape prison. Afterward the media would forever report you as the alleged but truly dirty criminal who got away, further ruining your reputation. All I want to know is, “when one of these career criminals is going to jail?”

Now, if you are on the left, and you are reading this, and steaming over it because you believe that I am unjustly picking on your team, I am not. There are plenty of yo-yos on the right to put in jail too. But if you want to understand how your party lost the last election, and how the government ended up in the hands of a man like Donald Trump, then look no further than the gaggle of life-long politicians that I have just highlighted. President Trump just called South and Central American countries “#$%!holes”, and the media and democratic politicians are currently on all the news channels losing their minds. And rightfully so, it is no way to talk about other humans or their cultures. But President Obama referred to those on the right as those who “cling to God and guns”, basically calling them backward rednecks. The media and other democrats nodded approvingly at this. Hillary, while sitting in Manhattan shortly before the election referred to Americans who didn’t agree with her as “a basket of deplorables.” The media and other democrats, again, nodded approvingly. So former President Obama and Hillary Clinton can call their own countrymen “#$%!heads” essentially, and no body on your side bats an eye. And you don’t understand how you lost?

Listen, our government is severely broken, and we all need to own that together. The real truth is that our entire culture is severely broken, and we all need to own that together too. How do we own it together? First, by prosecuting, and if found guilty, imprisoning those (no matter the party they belong to) who would use their position in government to punish or remove their political enemies. If you want President Trump gone then convince your neighbors, don’t encourage the permanent political class to use unsubstantiated claims to do your dirty work for you. Defeat him, don’t witch hunt him. That’s being lazy, sore, and uncivil losers.

Secondly, we should all abandon these two wretched parties with their pretend ideologies and begin voting for good persons that we choose for ourselves again. Not the ones that they choose (from within a microscopic group) for us to choose from. There is too much party spirit in this country. Abandon your parties and embrace liberty and each other’s humanity. Stop seeing each other as two groups, or worse, ideologies. We are more than our ideas. We are Americans, heirs of the great and free men and women that established this nation and we don’t need would-be kings, or the super wealthy, to make us great again. We should listen to our first President and avoid dividing ourselves into parties and ideological groups. The following words come from George Washington’s Farewell Address and the Declaration of Independence in turn. I leave you with them in the hope that we can all find the courage to heed them. That we would rise up together with a common courage and eject the ambitious power-brokers from OUR government, and begin the process of repairing the institutions that these two un-American parties have nearly destroyed.

Hollywood, the Media Are Delusional, Emotionally Immature, and Entitled

When people see the title “Evangelical Libertarian” they scratch their heads. How can one be a libertarian and an evangelical Christian? Being a libertarian is based on one’s approval of the “Non-Aggression Principle” (hereafter NAP) as a code of conduct. The NAP means that libertarians believe that aggression or coercion are not a valid actions that should be used by individuals or governments to achieve a desired benefit. Many libertarians are libertines and abuse the principle in order to do what they want. Others apply it to a fictional world where they say there should be no borders, or taxes, believing falsely that if Anarcho-capitalism reigned supreme all the problems that State actors create through coercive intervention would dissipate. That’s pure ideology, it doesn’t exist. It can’t exist. And I don’t dabble in fiction.

But, rightly understood, the Bible provides the basis for a NAP approach to life. The Ten Commandments are a series of principles to not violate or transgress, and all human laws that are in accordance with them are good pieces of legislation. They protect against aggression. Establishing State Deities, mandated forms of worship, oaths to State gods, and State sanctioned closures are dangerous. Theology and orthodoxy are matters that belong to the church. Murder, corruption of marriage and sexuality, theft, fraud, and conspiracy should all be crimes that men should be protected against. These belong to the civil government. Thus the separation of the “powers” of Church and State is an imminently libertarian doctrine.

Nature also provides some reasonable norms on which laws should be based. For instance, the existence of nations themselves, which are groups of people who are bound together by a common geography, legal tradition, and history shows that there needs to be some reasonable way for people that are immigrating to gain access to legal protections in their new country. For instance, the Constitution of the United States (contrary to the Left’s belief) applies to citizens within the compact, not those who crossed a border illegally (aggression), or over stayed a visa (aggression), or more specifically, who no longer qualify for refugee status because their nation has since been rebuilt after a terrible earth quake (also aggression).

One of the lead stories on the New York Times site yesterday is, “200,000 From El Salvador Must Leave, U.S. says.” There is a picture of an El Salvadoran family beneath it, pushing a stroller, with a small caption that reads, “We feel like Americans.” When did feelings enter into it? Refugee status was granted to El Salvadorans in 2001 under the Bush administration after two earthquakes destroyed much of the Central American nation’s infrastructure. A distaster that left thousands of people homeless and jobless. It was always meant to be temporary. It was a gesture of good will to help a neighboring country in their time of need. The intention was to give people from El Salvador a place to live until their country could be rebuilt enough for them to return and resume their life. It was not a permanent solution, the rule was never intended to be indefinite. So what’s all the hub bub? Why put it on the front page of the “newspaper of record” in the United States? Maybe because they have an ax to grind. Possibly because they are an agenda driven organization that is unable to objectively report the news. But then again, why should we be surprised that a paper that believes men are women if they “feel” like it, also believe El Salvadorans are Americans if they feel like it too? So, I guess it is not that shocking… moving on.

Did anyone catch the Golden Globes the other night? A picture of Oprah Winfrey at the Golden Globes was in the center of the cover of the New York Times site yesterday morning as well. It was linked to a raving review of her presidential-esque speech about #MeToo and #TimesUp. Of course, we all know, she said during the show, “that the media is under attack.” Evidently, Trump and his Twitter account are more than the mainstream in Hollywood and in the media can bear. Listen, I didn’t vote for the guy (or Clinton in case you were wondering). I don’t intend on voting for him in the next round either (or Oprah). But are we poor “deplorables” out here in flyover country on the right, in the middle, and libertarians just supposed to sit around and say nothing to our betters in Hollywood and the media? A group who just got #woke to the idea that women and children deserve respect. These two groups (Hollywood and the media) are overwhelmingly run by people on the Left who have abused women and children by the scores. Meanwhile, we learn that it was all an open secret in the Big Apple and Tinsel Town the whole time. From Matt Lauer, to Harvey Weinstein, to Kevin Spacey, everyone knew those men were serial sexual abusers. Everyone. Congratulations Hollywood for doing your duty…. because that is all that you did. You ain’t #woke, you are adolescents who just came to the sudden realization that women and children (except the unborn) should be cared for, listened to, and cherished. Most of us adults have lived this truth out quietly for years. And we did it without a red carpet, tv cameras, and so much self-congratulations.

But I’m sure you’ll turn out a whole bunch more borderline pornography in 2018, while simultaneously feigning shock and outrage over the sexual exploitation of women. I’m also quite sure you will continue to support sanctuary cities in the U.S., and lecture us small-minded rubes about our xenophobic bigotry. Even though, as Tucker Carlson recently highlighted in a segment on his show, immigrants do in fact commit crimes in the U.S. at a much higher rate than citizens. As we, the uninsulated and unwashed, not living in Beverly Hills or Manhattan, knew already by experience. On one front you are plagued with delusions of grandeur. While on the other you are emotionally immature persons living by your feelings, and at the same time being insufferably entitled. On both you are charlatans, and we, the plebes, have grown tired of you. So I’d expect viewer ship to continue to decline at the theaters, at the Golden Globes, and on your #fakenews channels.

Tom Hanks New Movie “The Post” Is Pure Media Propaganda

About a year ago my wife and I started watching the show “Blacklist”, the show that thrust James Spader back into the spotlight. I enjoy the show and am glad to see Spader make a come back, if for no other reason than nostalgia. We still watch the show, we just can’t binge watch it any more as we are caught up to the current season. What struck me about the show, coming to it so late, is the “New Cold War” theme that shows up in the first two seasons. You know, the two seasons that were written and filmed before the “New Cold War” began, before the Russians were the demon behind every bush. The idea struck me while watching “Blacklist” that the themes were planted in the script to get us ready for what was coming, Russian involvement in the Middle East, Russian hacking, and the resurgence of Russia on the world’s stage as a major power. Hollywood was priming the pump for us to re-receive the Russians as our new nemesis, moving them back into a role that they had already once previously occupied. It was like my childhood, with Patrick Swayze and Charlie Sheen inspiring the youth of America to want to fight those dirty no good Ruskies in “Red Dawn”. Interestingly, Red Dawn was also re-made just prior to the beginning of the “New Cold War” too.

The War on Terror was winding down, and with China as our most favored national trading partner, America needed a new enemy and it couldn’t be them. It had to be one that Europe could fear too. We can’t let Britain, France, and Germany start thinking for themselves. And if you want to make F.I.S.A. courts a permanent part of the American judicial structure you need a new vastly more powerful boogeyman that can rig elections and effect the the homeland in order to get the public in an uproar… right?

Since I first noticed these themes in Hollywood a little over a year ago, I started paying closer attention to what is being released into my Netflix que. My wife loves the new show “The Brave”, and asked me to watch an episode with her. After five minutes of watching it I turned to her and said, “Darling, this is pure unadulterated propaganda.” A team of lethal American military operators roam the world snuffing out our enemies on foreign soil that they are generally not suppose to be on. Computer geeks in a blacked out room give them orders with plausible deniability. If they get caught we never knew they were there. Of course this is a candid admission that we actually do this kind of stuff all the time. The powers that be are just getting us used to the idea, making it palatable for us. Enticing us to emotionally invest in the characters so that when the real ones are discovered in the real world we will be in their corner without ever asking the hard question, “Should we be waging war on foreign soil without a declaration of war?” “Are we morally right to do so?”

But governments aren’t the only organizations that can run psychological operations using the media. The media themselves have learned from their handlers, and they have gotten pretty good at manipulating the public. Let me explain what I mean.

I just got done watching “The Greatest Showman”. I don’t like musicals at all. People singing and dancing when they should be talking is weird to me. One of the previews they showed before the movie started was for the new Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep drama called, “The Post”. It is about the Nixon Whitehouse and damaging leaks regarding the governments outright lies concerning the Vietnam War. But truthfully, that’s not what I think it is really about.

Over the past few years the fourth estate in this country has taken it on the chin. The entire 2016 election cycle was disastrous for the media. President Trump’s election was accomplished despite everything that they could throw at him. He spent practically no money against the media’s darling, Hillary Clinton, and still won the election. Since day one of his presidency the media has been actively trying to have him impeached, but to no avail. CNN is running a twenty-four hour a day negative campaign against him. And yet, he sits in the Oval Office tweeting away insults at them all day long and all they can do is gnash their teeth. This just goes to show how far the mighty have fallen. No one believes a word that the New York Times or The Washington Post print outside of Manhattan and Washinton D.C.. The hashtag #fakenews is everywhere. The Twittersphere fact checks the media ruthlessly. Bloggers are constantly ruining their story paradigms and alternative news sources report news from a different angle so that their is a variety of perspective. The internet has destroyed the corporate media’s monopoly on information. It has rankled them so much that they have been trying to get laws passed to proclaim them the official news service of the State, and bloggers as State sanctioned “fake news”. Sound far fetched? Then you forgot this story from 2013.

Feinstein wants to limit who can be a journalist

People have options now that they didn’t have before. Television news as we all once knew it is over, even in its current cable infotainment model. Print media is finished. But they, the establishment media, still believe that they can recover their lost reputation and cultural influence.

So what is “The Post” really about? It is a drama that shows the corporate media in a positive light. It makes them the hero of the story. The bad government men are thwarted by “The Post”, short for “The Washington Post”, which of course portrays their journalists as a virtuous group of people concerned with getting the American people the truth in order to take down the evil Whitehouse. It is, at the same time, both the media’s attempt to recover their former glory, and a wet dream (I’m sorry to be course here) about destroying Trump as they did Nixon. It is the leftist elite intellectuals in the U.S. entertainment complex running a psychological operation on the public, nothing more, nothing less.

Go and see it if you want to, just see it for what it is, a myth, like Harry Potter or Fantasia. Hanks and Streep are fantastic actors and I’m sure they’ll help sell us a compelling and entertaining story. But that will be all that is is, a story. Hollywood can tell a good story, no doubt. But their stories are about as historically accurate as Grimm’s Fairy Tales. And honestly, that’s kind of an insult to Mr. Grimm, who I hold in much higher esteem than The Washington Post or their Hollywood allies.The Post
